Bogatsky, Physico-Chemical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Number of hydrophilic ligands samples based on heteroaromatic amino acids series 1,2,5-oxo (thio) diazole and their esters and hydrazides were obtained for synthesis of new homo- and heteronuclear complexes of 3d- and 4f-metals with imidazole derivatives, using developed effective approaches to formation and transformation nitrogen-oxygen and nitrogen-sulfur bonds in the "6" and "5" positions of pyrimidine cycle. Methods for synthesis of 4f- and 3d-metal complexes with diazole derivatives, namely, carboxy-, oxo- and thiodiazoles with crownified benzimidazole derivatives and calix[4]arenes substituted by alkyl benzimidazole fragments have been developed. It was found, that d- f-heteronuclear complexes can be obtained on basis of ligands with polytope coordination centers (crown ethers and calixarenes). It was established, that contrary to 3d metals [Co(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II)] complexes, lanthanide complexes [Yb(III), Nd(III), Er(III)] formation includes stage of previous dehydration of lanthanide solvation sphere with triethylorthoformate.
