It has been established that historical, geographical and environmental factors have a specific meaning for different groups of organisms. Scientific hypotheses are formulated and generalizations of data on features of historical development and landscape-zonal differentiation of regional faunas and flora of Ukraine are carried out; methods of studying the evolution of Paleopteran insects were described; a model of the electronic "Catalog of freshwater mollusks of Ukraine" were created; ethalon collections of some groups of vascular plants and soil animals Collembola, Enoplia (Nematoda), Protura, Mollusca, checklists of species of ground and freshwater mollusks of the main geographical regions of Ukraine, an electronic database of cenioflora of the Salicetea purpurea class of the Ukrainian Carpathians, the computer models of the dependence of the species richness of Collembola on geographical factors, the keys for the identification of soil animals from the Collembola, the descriptions of new taxa for science of Collembola, Protura i Agnatha, as well as a map of florogeographical devision of Ukrainian Carpathians were created. As a result of the theme, 37 works, among them 25 articles and 12 theses were published.
