The purpose of the work is to experimentally verify the existence of the phenomenon of electrochemical phase formation in metals via a supercooled liquid state stage and to determine the direction of use of this phenomenon in the energy sector. Methods of investigation - X-ray phase analysis, scanning electron microscopy, impedance spectroscopy, mathematical modeling. As a result of the implementation of the first intermediate stage of scientific research, the following scientific effects were established: the effect of increasing the rate of the reaction of the electrochemical rejuvenation of ions of electrodeposited metals and alloys when the solid cathode was replaced by a liquid of the same chemical composition; the effect of the intensification of the process of intermetallics formation on the interface of the metal cathode / metal that is electrocrystallized when the solid cathode is replaced by a liquid of the same chemical composition; the effect of the appearance of additional intermetallics, enriched with elements of the cathode, when replacing the solid cathode with a liquid identical chemical composition. The simulation of the dynamic behavior of multiphase media in the process of phase formation in metals during electrocrystallization is performed and the direction of practical application of the detected phenomenon in the energy sector is determined. Scientific and technical products were created: "New concept of phase formation in metals during electrocrystallization (part 1)". On the basis of the generalization of the obtained results, the existence of the phenomenon of electrochemical phase formation in metals via a supercooled liquid state stage has been proved. The results of the work make radical changes in the existing understanding of the phase formation in metals during electrocrystallization.
