The aim of the work is to conduct thermodynamic and kinetic studies of the processes of synthesis and decomposition of multicomponent oxide materials. Research methods - kinetic studies, thermodynamic calculations, X-ray phase analysis, thermogravimetry, differential thermal analysis, mathematical modeling. Recommendations for optimal conditions for the synthesis of zinc titanates based on titanium oxyhydroxide (IV) and zinc hydroxide have been developed due to theoretical calculations of the thermodynamic solubility diagrams of hydrated oxides and an appropriate experimental verification of their co-precipitation and coprecipitation has been carried out. For the first time it has been experimentally proved that the maximum homogenization of the composition of a mixture of hydroxides during their precipitation allows to reduce costs in the stages of grinding and high-temperature processing and thereby reduce the cost of the target product. The obtained mathematical model of the kinetics of topochemical reactions of mixtures of zinc and titanium (IV) hydroxides makes it possible to study the influence of a number of technological parameters on the flow rate of both individual stages and the whole process as well as to determine rational ways to increase the productivity and economy of the synthesis process as a whole.
