The purpose of the work is to increase the effectiveness of grinding operations and stabilize the quality parameters of functional surfaces of rotation on abrasive processing operations by creating scientific and practical recommendations for improving the technological process, introducing the technology of high-performance, non-defect-type intermittent grinding in the conditions of serial re-adjusting production. The work is aimed at increasing the efficiency of grinding operations and stabilizing the quality parameters of the functional surfaces of rotation of the rings on centrifugal and abrasive machining operations through the creation of scientific and practical recommendations for improving the technological process, introducing the technology of high-performance, defect-free, intermittent, centrifugal grinding. The patterns of heat propagation during the grinding of surfaces of rotation of the rings were found, the dependences were obtained for determining the depth of heating of the surface layer of the polished surface for the given speed of movement of the heat source along the polished surface, analytically determined the conditions for reducing the temperature and the rate of its penetration into the body of the workpiece. For the first time, the functional relationships between the grinding modes, the design features of the grinding tool (the number of cutting edges of the circle) during the change in the size of the rings being started in production and the temperature in the center of non-center grinding of the surfaces of the rotation are obtained.
