Project goal: develop a theoretical and experimental methods of calculation and reliability evaluation of thin-walled structures made of steel fiber concrete and the creation and implementation of technologies for the fabrication of such structures in laboratory and production conditions. The following scientific and technical results were obtained: 1) developed and applied in practice methods of calculation of shells of negative Gaussian curvature under various boundary conditions and loads using the method of finite differences. Derived finite-difference equation of strength and stability in linear formulation for the internal nodes of the shell for different boundary conditions at the contour. 2) developed computer program "Analysis of shells", which is intended for calculation of deformations and stability analysis of shells of revolution of negative Gaussian curvature as one-sheet hyperbolic paraboloid. 3) developed design of thin shell coating of steel fiber concrete in shape of a hyperbolic paraboloid that has better strength characteristics than similar structures made of concrete or ferrocement. Key words: hyperbolic paraboloid, hypar, thin shell, reinforced concrete, steel fiber concrete, steel fiber, short-term load, re-load, bearing capacity, deformability, fracture toughness, finite element method, Lira.
