RISK, PUBLIC APPOINTMENT BUILDING, EVACUATION, DANGEROUS FACTORS OF FIRE, RISK MAP. Object of research: Risks of death from fires in buildings and public facilities. The aim of the work is a draft methodology for assessing the risks of fire and death of public buildings and structures. Methods of research. The work uses a complex research method, including: analysis and application of statistical methods of data processing, verification of the reliability of the results obtained, mathematical modeling and other analytical methods. The paper highlights the main results: the concept of risk is disclosed and the main normative documents that treat them are indicated; The main methods and methods of risk assessment for public buildings and facilities are analyzed and the following conclusions are drawn: 1. The "FRAME" method allows to define fire protection systems of a sufficient level that protect a building or activity. But the coefficients for calculation are not available and therefore it does not meet our goals. 2. "The methodology for determining the calculated values of fire risk in buildings and structures of different classes of functional fire danger" is better suited for assessing fire risks of public facilities and public buildings (or standard facilities). A draft methodology has been developed for assessing the risks of death from fires in public buildings and facilities, and these risks have been evaluated for these two facilities. In the draft methodology, it is suggested to take into account the time spent by fire and rescue units in determining the evacuation time. Also, it was suggested to evaluate the results according to a certain color scale, which makes it possible to create risk maps for their visualization. With the help of the CFAST program, modeling of the approach of limiting concentrations of hazards during fires for two typical objects was carried out.
