The following methods were used with the purpose to fulfill the tasks: analysis of modern methods of foreign languages teaching; analysis and grounding of the subject and amount of study time for learning the "Foreign language" discipline; grounding of recommendations on requirements for foreign languages competency. the main results of the research are: the drafts of regulatory documents on organization of the Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel language training were justified; a draft of a new Concept of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel language training was developed; the recommendations on requirements of the foreign languages competency (according to the category of personnel) wes justified. Implementation of suggested draft will increase the effectiveness of the foreign languages studying process by the Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel and increase the effectiveness of the language testing procedure.
