This report contains the results of the analysis of the current level of operational safety of the KhNPP power units in 2017. During the comprehensive analysis of the materials of the KhNPP report, an assessment was made: completeness and correctness of the input data used by KhNPP in order to calculate the safety indicators; the correctness of the interpretation of the obtained results of calculation of safety indicators; completeness of consideration of the revealed tendencies on the results of calculation of safety indicators; correctness and completeness of the general assessment of the level of operational safety and technical condition of the KhNPP power units. The results of this work may be the basis for the adoption of regulatory decisions aimed at optimizing and enhancing the effectiveness of the safety oversight of the KhNPP power units in terms of planning and conducting inspections.
