In Ukraine the threat of the Dnieper water reservoirs is suffering much from the algal bloom. It is proved that from cyanobacteria, subjected to anaerobic digesting, a biogas with high content of methane can be obtained, and the rest of biomass can be used as an effective organic fertilizer.
