The purpose of the project is to solve the scientific and technical problems of the development of theoretical foundations and scientific principles of developing models and mechanisms for an effective control of the parameters that improve the technological processes of forming, strengthening and heat treatment of blanks and products from the refractory materials and alloys to ensure their dimensional accuracy, uniformity, electrical resistance and crack resistance in high temperature, conditions, intensive abrasive wear and shock loads. The subject of the research is the thermomechanical regimes and conditions of the plastic deformation followed by the heat treatment for supplying the products with the required performance characteristics. The work is aimed at the creation of special effective technologies for the treatment of refractory materials and their alloys to provide high performance characteristics of products based on new principles of controlling the parameters of the technological processes and optimization models of the plastic deformation and heat treatment with the determination of the optimal physical state of the material during the treatment. It is proposed to determine the conditions for the loss of stability of the thermal conduction regime, plastic deformation, diffusion, shock wave processes when changing the acoustic properties in the conditions of gradients of temperatures, pressure and acoustic rigidity and also to investigate of the impact of the loss of stability on the structuring of the materials. On the basis of the theoretical and experimental studies of the processes of the deformation strengthening, compaction, sintering, it is proposed determine the optimum deformation intensities and the structure of products from the refractory materials and alloys. This will enable the development of the technology for the production of the carbide cutting and armor plates strengthened after the initial sintering and a new technological scheme for the production of the armor-protective plates for the body armor and armored vehicles, as well as tungsten tapes and cathodes of a high quality with a high level of performance.
