The object of research is investment project. The purpose of the report is to substantiate the importance of ethical aspects and social determinants in the design, implementation and evaluation of the effectiveness of investment projects in the context of asymmetric information. The main elements of scientific novelty are: - definition of the main aspects of forming the reputational capital of investors taking into account different groups of stakeholders; - application of the strategy of corporate social responsibility as an instrument for building a culture of trust in the investment process; - development of a conceptual scheme for auditing the effectiveness of investment projects, taking into account the impact of the environment and the company's development strategy; - development of the mechanism of the ethical audit of the investment projects effectiveness, which includes policies and procedures that are inherent in different levels: the auditor, the enterprise and the environment; - definition of social determinants of investment projects implementation: responsible investment, financing of social services, social innovations and social entrepreneurship, which made it possible to formulate the advantages of socially responsible investors in the market; - substantiation of modern vectors of changes of investment priorities.
