The studies were carried out in accordance with the requirements of state standards for measurements, tests, analysis of operating conditions and operating conditions of electrical machines. Diagnostics of the technical condition and evaluation of the efficiency of the current mode of operation and operation of electrical machines were performed on the basis of methods for diagnosing the analysis of current, voltage and power signals obtained with the help of developed mathematical models of the work of IM for various degrees of development of the most common defects. This allowed us to identify the patterns of influence of existing defects on the formation of the spectral composition of power and formulate a number of coefficients for the diagnosis of IM. For the possibility of qualitative diagnostics, a method of indirect determination of energy parameters and power on the IM shaft was developed. The obtained analytical expressions for active and reactive powers, harmonics and rms values of variable power components allow analyzing the operation modes of electromechanical equipment in analytical form. The results of the work were used to evaluate and improve the quality of IM systems.
