The subject of works corresponds to the scientific directions of the department: 1. Development of methods of primary and secondary protection of metal structures from corrosion wear. 2. Further perfection of design and technological means sustainable development of construction. 3. Protection of metallurgical machines from destruction. The purpose of the research is to develop and implement a model of settlement situations under conditions of reliability for the tasks of monitoring and technical diagnostics the corrosion condition of steel structures during the design, construction and operation pe-riod. To formulate constructive principles, an algorithm for calculation of integral reliability index was developed for revealing the residual resource of metal constructions. The results of these de-velopments are published and protected by patents of Ukraine. Most of the results are implemented in production and have a significant economic effect. Scope of the obtained results of building structures, buildings and structures. The materials provided in the report should be useful to stu-dents, postgraduates and research staff working in the specified areas.
