The purpose of the work is to improve the efficiency of road transport by researching new ones and improving existing forms of organization of transport work, introducing the latest technologies in the organizational processes of road transport. Research methods: theoretical and experimental research, simulation and mathematical modeling, mathematical processing of statistical data, statistical analysis, analytical, time-length, calculation-theoretical, etc. The process of recovery of wear parts of road transport by the method of surface hardening has been improved. Practical recommendations on the choice of repair and recovery modes are given. The study of the variability of the existing systems of organization of urban passenger transportations is carried out; reasonable and suggested methods for monitoring the quality of bus passenger transportation. A mechanism has been developed to quantify the potential conflict flow of traffic at intersections. Methods for solving conflict situations based on the example of the city of Mariupol are proposed. The interaction of conflicting transport flows in phase transitions is investigated and a mechanism for controlling the stability of phase states of traffic flows in an urban environment is proposed. On the basis of the introduction of the newest technologies during loading and unloading operations, the use of containers was proposed to exclude superfluous elements and stages of loading and unloading operations and to reduce the time for grain transshipment in the technological process at GP "MMTP". The introduction of the intellectual mechanism of choosing the optimal logistics route for the distribution of goods in the transport system of the city has been developed and justified in the transport and logistics work.
