The ecological role of the studied parasitic hymenoptera — wasps of the families Chrysididae, Eurytomidae, Torymidae, Ormyridae, and Trichogrammatidae is discussed. Recommendations on the use of trihogrammatid wasps in the biological protection of agricultural plants in the region are given. The role of entomophages in the regulation of the dynamics of the number of agricultural pests is discussed.
