The purpose of the research is to develop the fundamental basics for the formation of a "green" economy based on the reproductive mechanism of its ecologization and the gradual dematerialization of the industrial metabolism. Methods of research - comparative and statistical analysis, method of logical generalization, system-structural analysis, methods of fuzzy logic, methods of prognosis, system analysis; analysis of "costs - issue"; complex analysis of feedback; mathematical modeling; methods of constructing indicators; methods of rating of innovative projects. Based on research results, the concept of "landscaping" of the economy based on the reproductive mechanism of open stationary systems and approaches to the management of the development of economic systems in the conditions of providing a "green" economy and sustainable development has been developed. The novelty of these approaches is to determine promising mechanisms and directions for the development of the sectoral basis of the "green" economy and the principles of the transition of stationary systems to the conditions of the "green" economy. The main idea is the scientific grounding of the transition to an innovation-oriented mechanism of reproduction of the "green" economy based on the gradual ecologization of key components of economic systems: demand, supply, motivational tools, human capital.
