Research objectives – technology improvement of inertial-filtering separation of two-phase flow, modeling of dynamic separation processes of heterogenic systems with the analysis of vibration influence (acoustical vibrations) and coupled heat-mass transfer, development and implementation of energy-efficient modular separation equipment. Research Methods The theoretical research is based on the similarity theory, as well as the models based on the fundamental premises of liquid and gas mechanics, classical premises of hydrodynamics and hydroaeroelasticity theories, basic principles of technological preparation of manufacture and technologies of chemical and oil-gas engineering. In accordance with the conducted analytical review, the main methods for improvement of the energy-efficiency and separation value of the modular separation devices is determined. The variants of multifunctional modular separation equipment arrangement are systematized. The engineering and technological classification of the unitized modules of separation devices is developed. The concept of the theoretical foundations of separation processes of the gas-dispersed systems in apparatus with intensive hydrodynamic regimes is expanded. The theoretical and practical problems of continuum mechanics and separation processes of gas-dispersion systems are outlined.
