The work is aimed at creating a new breeding material with a high level of penetrance of the multiflowered ear and raising of high yield varieties of winter rye on this basis. Research methods. Processing of breeding material according to the complete scheme of selection process. All observations and evaluations of breeding material in nurseries of different levels were carried out according to the method of state variety testing. The analysis of grain quality indicators was determined on the Infratec 1241 device. Results of researches and their novelty. A new source of winter rye has been created, evaluated for elements of productivity, winter resistance, drought tolerance, resistance to harmful diseases and lodging and quality indicators of grain. 163 numbers of hybrids F1, 20 numbers of hybrids F2, 21 collection sample, 4 self-pollination lines were studied; 3 simple interlinear hybrids; 7 numbers I1 and 4 numbers I2.
