Establishment of regularities of formation of valuable economic features of winter triticale and on this basis creation of a new source material and a variety with increased adaptive properties, high grain yield and good technological and baking quality. Research methods. Creation of the source material by methods of intraspecific, interspecific and intergeneric hybridization. Processing of breeding material according to the complete scheme of selection process. Research results and their novelty. The regularities of the formation of valuable economic features were established, correlation relations between yield and qualitative features of grain of the triticale lines of winter for the bread-baking type of use were calculated. The original selection material with valuable economic features was created, namely: productivity 8 points, resistance to diseases 9 points, winter resistance 9 points, drought resistance 8 points, resistance to lodging of 8-9 points, protein content - 13.0% and more. In the previous and competitive tests a number of best lines have been identified, which yielded a standard variety Volemir of 0.59 and 0.04 t/ha The new varieties of the winter triticale Maetok Poliskyi, Kotigoroshko, Aristocrat and Fanat with improved type of physical properties of grain and satisfactory baking quality have been transfered for passing qualification examination.
