The basic methods of breeding are various types of simple and complex intraspecific and interspecific crosses. The main methods of research: measuring, analytical, computational and comparative, statistical, dispersion and regression. The research work was carried out in accordance with the methodological recommendations of the All-Russian Flax Research Institute (VNIIL) and the methodological recommendations "Selection and primary seeding of flax flax" and "Selection of flaxen oil". Main results of work. New outgoing forms with economic and valuable features were created and studied for further selection work with flax of intermediate type of use with the given parameters of productivity. In the hybrids of the first and second generations, the character of inheritance of signs and the scope of variability on the basis of quantitative characteristics are established. Creation of new varieties of flaxseed meal in accordance with the given parameters, testing and evaluation of a new breeding material at all stages of the breeding process. In the collection nursery, in the study of seed productivity high yields of seed samples are allocated. The seed yield in the standard was 170 g / m2, and in 10 samples this indicator was 250 - 420 g / m2. Virtually all studied specimens were resistant or moderately resistant to fusarium fading and cavitation. The seed oil content is 41.5%. Among the collection samples, 5 rooms with oil content in the seeds were allocated at the level of 45.0 - 47.0%. In the breeding room, 12 samples were selected for seed yield, which exceeded the standard of 28-161 g / m2. The selection of early-seeded varieties for seed yield and oil content are not inferior to the standard. In the previous variety trial, a significant excess of all major indicators was in rooms number 1 and number 7 in comparison with the standards observed exceeded the indicator or the indicator was at the standard level. The greatest exceedance of standard indicators was observed for the yield of straw and seeds.
