The object of research is selection and seeding of rape of spring and winter. Methods of research - selection work with rape Yarima and winter was carried out according to the general scheme for selection and seed work. Competitive sorting tests were carried out according to the method of the State sort test. Research results and their novelty - based on the results of research in the early stages of selection of rape of spring and winter, promising numbers and samples for further breeding work have been identified. Genetic sources and donors of the main quantitative traits were also identified and a new source material was created (hybridization and selection) for the further development of breeding work. In 2016, high-performance variety varieties with a high degree of resistance and plasticity to abiotic environmental factors in rabbit rape (sorted specimens that exceeded the standard set of parameters) were selected in CSR in all categories of nurseries in 2016, the oil content of which ranged from 43% to 46% , protein from 18% to 23.5%, erucic acid content from 0.0% to 0.5%, glucosinolates in corn from 2.3 m2l / g to 14.2 m2 / g and conditional seed output from 2.13 t / ha up to 2.65 t / ha (the total is 5 rooms), and in winter rape in CSR the content of oil from 42% to 46%, protein from 19% to 26%, the amount of erucic acid from 0.0% to 0.5%, glucosinolates in the meal from 2.0 mol / g to 14.0 ?mol / g and the conditional seed output from 4.2 t / ha to 5.5 t / ha (all 7 rooms are allocated). It was established that in conditions of the northern part of the forest-steppe Ukraine for seeding seeds of fraction of 3.6 g or more into the Magnate variety, they received the highest biological yield of 5.32 t / ha, and in the IVS variety - 4.45 t / ha for sowing with the seeds of fraction 2.6 -3,5 g. The use of the "Pictor" drug in the studied variety and sortozrazku contributed to an increase in yields of 0,54-0,77 t / ha for seeding a fraction of up to 2.5 g and 2.6-3.5.
