The purpose of the work is developing of high-yielding early-maturing determinate and intermediate-rapening varieties of buckwheat with improved architectonics of plants resistant to stress conditions. Research methods were hybridization, polycross-test, self-pollination with tetraploid buckwheat isolation, bulk selection by direct signs and breeding indices, negative selection for determinant growing type. Research results. F1 hybrids and breeding samples with predetermined parameters were obtained through different forms of genetic recombinogenesis and inbreeding. New varieties of synthetics and complex hybrids have been formed and multiplied for further research. In the Control nursery on the level of combining ability was made an assessment of 80 maternal components, were selected 30 hybrids of which could be used as components of synthetic varieties. Of the 15 breeding numbers in the Competitive Variety Trial nursery a significant excess of yield over national standards provided five samples. In the Previous Variety Trial of yield over the standard variety Olga, there were only 11 breeding numbers (up to 0.23 t / ha). The standard variety Ukrainka had exceeded 12 breeding numbers (up to 0.29 t / ha). Were multiplied the breeding seeds of new high-yielding buckwheat of determinant type variety Olga (pre-basis seeds, super elite) and indeterminate type variety – Ruta (pre-basis seeds, multiplied nursery-1).
