The purpose of the work: investigation of the genetic control of the economic and valuable features controlled yielding and adaptability of buckwheat and the basis of their inheritance, which will be formed the buckwheat breeding strategies, methods and schemes. Research methods: hybridization, inbreeding using individual and artificial isolation, electrophoresis of storage proteins in PAAG, field, mathematical and statistical methods. Research results. Using artificial isolation were obtained valuable genotypes and was verified the identity of the hybrids with the researched traits of determinant type of plant growth, red and green color of the flower corolla. The character of inheritance in hybrid populations F1 of the character of determinant type of plant growth was in the direction of dominant or incomplete dominant inheritance of plant height, indicating a probable recessive inheritance of determinism. The first generation of hybrids was obtained from the crossing of the green-flowered, red-flowered forms with white-flowered varieties of buckwheat, which confirmed the recessive inheritance of the green and red color of the corolla. Characteristic of components of the electrophoretic spectrum 9 and 27 were detected by electrophoresis of the seed storage proteins of the Zelenokvitkova-12 seed, and specific components of the spectrum 28, 26 were identified in the determinant white-flower varieties Lakneya and Vlada, indicating the possibility of identifying these genotypes by this method. In order to more full study the influence of maternal and parental components of hybrids on the manifestation of traits and development of the breeding strategy on the basis of the received data, seeds of F1 17 hybrid combinations of buckwheat were obtained. 8 pairs of them were developed by direct and 8 pairs by reciprocal crossings.
