The object of the study is latent forms of syphilis. The purpose of the work is to increase the effectiveness of treatment and prophylaxis of latent forms of syphilis using new complex etiopathogenetic methods of treatment, based on the study of the function of the endothelium of blood vessels. Research methods are clinical, biochemical, serological, molecular and statistical. The state of the microhemocirculatory channel of individuals with latent forms of syphilis was studied. Peculiarities of changes in the system of blood coagulation, that patients with latent syphilis have, are revealed; asymptomatic systemic vasculitis features are revealed. The character of changes in the balance of components of the nitric oxide system is shown, indicating the presence of systemic endothelial dysfunction. The morbidity, clinical and epidemiological and laboratory features of latent syphilis were studied. On the basis of the obtained results an integrated method of treatment of patients with latent forms of syphilis was developed, taking into account the functional state of the vascular bed.
