For the first time, the modified method of the synthesis of CdTe nanocrystals' aqueous colloids was proposed. It allows to obtain CdTe nanocrystals of greater concentration with a small variation in size and greater photostability and successfully carry out the nanocrystals' synthesis with the introduction of transition metals' impurities (Hg2+, Mn2+ and Zn2+). Established regularities of "structure-antioxidant activity" allow to carry out the targeted synthesis, which greatly reduces the time and efforts in search of new, highly effective antioxidant compounds and synergistic compositions based on them.
