Aim of work - study of the influence of hydro- and thermodynamic parameters of the granulation process (including encapsulation and modification) on the quality of granular products, the development of a science-based method for calculating of granulation and drying devices with active hydrodynamic regimes. Research methods. The physical modeling is based on the methods of similarity theory. Experimental studies were conducted to verify the adequacy of the proposed mathematical model. Adequacy received settlement dependencies due to the use the mathematical models are based on the general provisions of hydrodynamics and kinetics of drying, comparing the calculated and experimental data. The processes of heat and mass transfer during granulation in vortex granulators and drying in multi-stage polygons are described and experimentally investigated. New ways of utilization of granulation waste products are offered and experimental researches have been carried out to determine their efficiency. The methods of engineering calculation of granulators with active hydrodynamic regimes and multi-stage dryers are developed.
