The aim of the work is to generalize and systemize methods for assessing the effectiveness of standardization in management. Methods of research - search-analytical methods, system analysis, general scientific methods (analysis, comparison, synthesis, generalization). Results and their novelty: an analysis of the toolkit of the ISO methodology for calculating the impact of standards at the micro level of organizations in various industries. The basis of the ISO assessment is the organization's value chain. A generalization and systematization of effects from the use of standardization and methods for assessing effectiveness was carried out. The basis for the development of a methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of standardization in the organization have become functions of standardization, taking into account the components of sustainable development.
