The object of research - the late Paleolithic settlement Mezhyrich (15-14,5 thousand years ago) - a unique archaeological monument of national importance (230017-N), located in the village. Mezhirich Kaniv district of Cherkasy region. The purpose of the project is to conduct stationary studies of the fourth housing of mammoth bones in order to obtain data on the design features and the degree of preservation of cultural remains inside the home, carrying out restoration works in order to create the basis for future museum design of the object. Implementation of the results in the memorandum area makes it possible to preserve housing from bone mammoth, which will allow to more actualize the archaeological heritage in modern Ukraine, to highlight the peculiarities of the domestic culture of primitive hunters, which will allow the exhibit of visitors' sights, will positively influence the development of the tourism industry and local infrastructure; in the scientific field - during the restoration research, the areas inside and outside the house were cleared, which made it possible to find out the structure of the object, the peculiarities of the material and behavioral culture of the inhabitants, the nature of the adaptation of the hunting group to the glacial conditions of the last Pleistocene glaciation of Europe; As a result of archaeological research, a series of artifacts - flint, bone, and tushny products - were obtained that would become the source of scientific research on the life and material culture of the primitive population and would allow the use of a number of scientific methods to reveal the aspects of the life of ancient society, namely: typological, statistical, technological, trasological, archeozoical, and the like. in the educational sphere - training was conducted under the guidance of highly skilled professionals of the group of masters and postgraduate students of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with non-destructive methods of fixing archaeological objects and methods of restoration of bone remnants.
