This research is the thematic continuation of the previous research "Creation of the unified gemological information platform of the instruments and products of the Ukrainian segment of the world market in the field of gemmology" carried out at the State University within 2012-2016. The goal of the research is the development of already existing information resources of the SGC of Ukraine concerning gemmological information platform and the creation of new IT systems in the field of telecommunications, computer and information services. Methods of research and equipment: methods of formalization, analysis and synthesis, modeling and other theoretical and empirical methods used in the automation of technological processes were applied during different stages of project development. Results and their novelty. The study describes the structure of the modern information and analytical environment specifically the gemmological platform which is the host for different information resources and services in gemmological field. The issue of creating elements of the gemological platform - information resources of the SGC of Ukraine Portal as well as issues of further development of a complex electronic document management system and integration of information resources of the gemmological platform with other modern information and analytical systems are considered. The issues of creating of unified information environment of the SGC of Ukraine are discussed. This environment is the complex of various information resources (databases and data banks with common directories, catalogs, dictionaries, technologies for their maintenance and use), information and telecommunication systems and networks operating on the basis of common principles and rules ensuring information interaction of organizations and citizens, as well as meeting their information needs. Scope and implementation level. The results of research and development will be implemented in the daily activities of the SGC of Ukraine, this will practically affect both the entire internal workflow of the organization and its relations with outside organizations. Deployment of various thematic information resources of the gemmological direction at the SGC of Ukraine Portal will allow increasing the number of information services offered to citizens, and will create prerequisites for further research in the direction of creating expert systems in gemology.
