Object of research: regional peculiarities and markers of caries morbidity risk; treatment of patients with dental caries and pulpitis; the oral cavity tissues, blood and mouth fluid of patients with teeth hard tissues diseases, periodontal disease and oral mucosa disorders. The purpose of the study: the study of the peculiarities of the course and the development, as well as, implementation of new methods of diagnosis and treatment of teeth hard tissues diseases, periodontal disease and oral mucosa disorders; increasing the effectiveness of treatment and prevention of these diseases on the basis of development of pathogenetically grounded complex methods and schemes taking into account the action of general and local factors. Methods of research: epidemiological, medical-sociological, clinical, laboratory, functional, experimental, immunological, psychological, statistical. Discriminant models of predicting the probability of low or average levels of dental caries intensity and high or moderate levels of tooth enamel resistance to caries are developed on the basis of dermatoglyphic indices. A computer program for determining the levels of caries intensity or the resistance of tooth enamel to caries has been developed. The complex of treatment-prophylactic measures in patients with lesions of oral mucosa, combined with rheumatoid arthritis has been developed. The algorithm of the choice of premedication, means and technologies of local anesthesia in the treatment of dental caries and pulpitis by biological and extirpatory methods is proposed. The method of complex treatment and prevention of glosodinium was developed. The method of complex treatment and prophylaxis of periodontal diseases in patients with lesion of intervertebral disks of cervical department was developed. The results are introduced into the practical activities of city and regional dental clinics in Vinnitsa, Khmelnytsky, Poltava, and Zhytomyr.
