After the occupation of Crimea in 2014, the question of preserving the cultural heritage of the Golden Horde and the Crimean Khanate, which remained on the mainland of Ukraine and needs proper scientific evaluation, became especially relevant. This is primarily about the manuscripts from the Lviv Museum of Religion History, the Lviv National Science Library. V. Stefanyk, libraries of the Lviv National University named after. I. Franko National Library of Ukraine. V. Vernadsky and others. At the moment, due to preliminary research, almost 30 manuscripts were discovered in the Crimea as Crimean authors and rewritten in Crimea from other sources during the period of XV-XVIII centuries. The final task of the project is to digitize, describe and create a catalog of existing ones in mainland Ukraine. handwritten monuments of the Crimean Tatar culture. The project is being revised through the following tasks: processing of the Crimean Tatar manuscript heritage, which until then was not the subject of study of science; the introduction of new sources into scientific circulation; the disclosure of the content of the sources, comparison with other texts of those periods, the first in science to determine the meaning that the Crimean Tatar manuscript inherits for the study of the intellectual history of the Ukrainian steppe and the Muslim world as a whole; preparation of a comprehensive catalog with bio and bibliographic descriptions of the sources that for the first time appear as subjects of scientific study, a brief statement of the contents of each document; illustration with relevant materials.
