The purpose of the study is carrying out the verification of technical tasks and drafts of building norms, regulations and technical documents developed by the order of Ukravtodor; provision of scientific-practical and methodical consultations to specialists in the field of normalization, standardization; informing specialists on new documents; ensuring the functioning of the Information Retrieval System and the Fund of Building Norms and Regulations; publication of information guides on approved new construction norms, regulations and technical documents and amendment to them; dissemination of knowledge on new technologies, materials, machines and mechanisms in the road sector by thematic seminars, conferences, forums and exhibitions and dissemination of information from foreign sources (for this purpose, the information needs of consumers on information from foreign sources are identified and specified and translations of the relevant materials are carried out). The methods of the research are analytical, theoretical, scientific and informational. The research results will be implemented through the introduction of changes to the Information Retrieval System; providing conclusions of examination of draft documents; providing consultations to experts in the field of metrology and standardization; translations from foreign sources of information on the state and development of road sectors of other countries; information on approved new building norms, regulations and technical documents and amendment to them; information on the replaced and canceled documents; providing industry seminars, conferences, forums and exhibitions, dissemination of new scientific developments from foreign sources.
