The objective of the work is to improve the methodological basis for performing the state review of nuclear and radiation safety, and technical assessment of DSA documentation which is a part of the Safety Analysis Reports of Units of Nuclear Power Plants. The research method - analysis of SSTC NRS experience reviewing (technical assessment) of the DSA documentation; analysis of current legislative and regulatory acts on nuclear and radiation safety of Ukraine, documents of the operating organization, which should be applied in the review (technical assessment). The developed Methodology will be used in the activities of SSTC NRS, the technical support organization of Ukrainian regulatory body, for conducting the review of correspondent DSA studies results.
