For the 25 model critical species, specific proposals have been developed for measures to preserve them. The taxonomic status of 45 model critical species is determined on the basis of analysis of herbarium materials, available taxonomic, phylogenetic and other data. For the 80 model species, characteristics have been prepared in accordance with the developed methodological recommendations for the collection, preparation and standardized submission of materials according to the types of the Red Data Book of Ukraine. The justifications for model species of plants and fungi have been prepared for their inclusion in and exclusion from the regular edition of the Red Data Book of Ukraine and the projects of the corresponding species listings.
