Kholodny Institute of Botany NASU popup.description2 The effect of sulfates and citrates of essential elements (zinc, manganese, copper) on the growth of mycelial biomass and the qualitative composition and quantitative content of cytokinins of the medicinal fungus Trametes versicolor strain 353 were studied for the first time. All studied microelements significantly inhibited the formation of inactive forms of cytokinins (cis-zeatin and zeatin-O-glucoside) and stimulated the accumulation of active forms of the hormone (trans-zeatin or zeatin riboside). Metal citrates more effectively influenced the growth of T. versicolor 353 than sulfates, however, with respect to the effect on the concentration of cytokinins, no similar pattern was observed. No quantitative dependencies between the growth of mycelial biomass and the content of active forms of cytokinins were detected. An assumption is made about the indirect effect of metal ions on the biosynthesis and metabolism of cytokinins. The adding of trans-zeatin into the culture medium (10-6 and 10-7 M) caused a slight stimulating effect on the growth of Fomitopsis officinalіs 5004 mycelial biomass and a moderate inhibitory effect on the growth of the Hericium coralloides 2332 mycelium. The most favorable growing temperatures were established for H. coralloides 2332, 2333 and H. alpestre 2407. The growth rate of the mycelial biomass of the fungi F. officinalіs 5004 and H. coralloides 2332 depended on the acidity of the culture medium. Product Description popup.authors Аль-Маалі Г.А.
