MH materials and nanocomposites based on graphene-like materials have been established as cathodes for the photoelectrochemical cell. These compounds are used in the development of a photoelectrochemical system for converting sunlight into chemical energy of hydrogen. The optimal composition of electrolytes, the type of ion-conducting membrane were determined and the design of a photoelectrochemical cell with hydrogen accumulation and a fully reversible PEC cell were developed. A photoelectrochemical fuel cell with a modified CdSe photoelectrode and an MH / air electrode system was developed.
