It was established that the production of hydrogen cyanide in the process of anodic oxidation of rhodanide with a current output of HCN is about 100% possible with the use of a solution of 1M KS?N. The designs of an electrochemical generator for the preparation of a cyanoid air-air mixture in which as a working electrode were used platinum or titanium, activated Pt or RuO2 were proposed. The range of current load on generators has been determined, which preserves the coulometric character of the generation of hydrogen cyanide. The kinetics of electrochemical recovery of AgCN and its suitability for use as a cathode material of the NSN generator is shown. The prototype samples of two-electrode cells of generator of hydrogen cyanide were made. It is established that the generator cells are capable of generating a NNN with a current output of up to 100%, with current loads of 1 ... 10mA. According to the results of the conducted research, a laboratory sample of an electrochemical generator of cyanide hydrogen was created, which, in the range of hydrogen cyanide concentration and the permissible error of its reproduction, meets the requirements of the GHS of the 2 nd level. The three-electrode amperometric sensors of hydrogen cyanide for monitoring the air environment on the basis of gas diffusion high-density catalytic electrodes using solutions of sulfate acid with the addition of cupric ions as an electrolyte and equipped with a chemisorption filter have been developed. Laboratory tests of developed electrochemical sensors have been carried out and their technical characteristics have been determined. In the range of measured concentrations, resolution, performance, stability characteristics of the developed sensors correspond to the best samples of sensors leading gas-analytical firms, and their selectivity prevails.
