The object of research: the Muslim society in Ukraine. Subject of research: socio cultural aspects of the integration of Muslim communities in the Ukrainian society in the conditions of the military and political crisis. The purpose of research: a comprehensive analysis of the social and political dimensions of Islamic societies being in Ukraine after 2013. The main problem is social and cultural studies research situation in which turned out to the Muslim community of Ukraine in the conditions of the military and political crisis connected with the temporary occupation of the Crimea and Donbas. Since, according to available statistics, more than half of Ukrainian Muslims lived in these regions, events 2013-2014 and subsequent years, to a large extent influenced by the position of the Islamic societies and their integration into Ukrainian society. In addition, attention should be paid in a particular study of the phenomenon in the aspect of the potential of conflicts associated with the tension between the different Islamic organizations in Ukraine. In general, the methodology of scientific work includes both the classic and the latest, religion studies and cultural studies methodology. The classic methods of analysis and synthesis added categorical (study of the specific functioning of religious concepts), germeneutical (study of ideological concepts), content analysis (study of ideological concepts), various sociological methodology, in particular interviews and expert survey. The novelty of the methodology is a combination of textual and sociological methods as planned research, both theoretical and practical, are particularly relevant processes in Ukrainian Islamic environment. 3 were issued during the reporting 1monograph, 6 of which - in the publications that belong to foreign scientometric databases. Forward-looking assumptions concerning the development of the research object: the results of research make it possible to develop a more holistic view of the trends and prospects in the Ukrainian Islam itself. Stated tasks will assess these phenomena in their detailed measurements, in particular, institutional, religious, social, cultural and security.
