The purpose of the research is to scientifically substantiate the influence of the level of rumination (chewing activity) on the nature of the process of milk production process. Research Methods - For the registration of physiological parameters, the MilConHM ™ electronic system with an identification unit based on nerve straps transponders combining the functions of identification, recording of motor activity of animals and their chewing activity (roaming) and automatic transfer of accumulated data to a computer using infra-red technologies. A stable tendency towards greater rumination activity of high-yielding cows is established in comparison with less productive ones. Thus, high-yielding animals were characterized by the highest chewing duration during the day (371.9 min.), Exceeding the average yield by 3.5%. The advantage of the average productivity of low-yielding ones was 8.3%. The results indicated that there is a positive relationship between the milk productivity of cows from their chewing activity during the day, which is confirmed by the coefficient of rank correlation between the studied indices. Thus, the correlation coefficient between the total duration of day-time chewing and daily tiredness was +0.304 and was statistically significant. It should also be noted the consistent increase in chewing activity from calving to launch with a slight decrease in the 4th month of lactation. The area of application is dairy cattle breeding.5481 Product Description popup.authors Баняс Юрій Юрійович popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
