Objective of the work is the observation for fluctuation and succession changes in natural and artificial ecosystems that occur during the calendar year, the preservation of gene pools and coenopools of the natural and artificial ecosystems. Development of strategy and preservation of unique steppe protected ecosystems functioning under conditions of intensive agricultural landscape, formation of green building system in the region with artificial irrigation, the use of the results when laying the dendrological parks, zoos and zoo corners, etc. The research methods are common in meteorology, soil science, field geobotany, dendrology and zoology. The characteristic of the seasons, temperature and precipitation is given. The general characteristic of present composition and changes in the flora of vascular plants of natural nucleus is implemented. Results of geobotanical descriptions of the background of plant associations on a stationars of ecological line are given. Data on the number of background and rare species of animals, materials of population structure and regularities of their population dynamics are generalized. The composition and present state of sozological element of phyto- and zoo-biota are shown. The data of rhythm of plant development, current phenodata in the protected steppe and the native fauna are given. The information on the number, current phenodata of native and introduced species, including rare species of mammals and birds' zoo "Askania Nova", about their parasitological status are generalized. The data on the development rhythm, current phenodata indicator plant species introduced in the Dendrological Park "Askania Nova". The fire prevention measures in the protected steppe, biotechnological, scientific and technical measures at the dendropark and zoo; agricultural activities in the buffer zone and anthropogenic landscape zone, changes in the structure of land use of the Biosphere Reserve's are characterized. The results of a scientific and research work of an institution and other organizations on the territory of the reserve, ecology-educational and international activity of the reserve, replenishment of scientific collections and abnormal natural phenomena are summarized. The results of researches are used in the reserve business, for conservation of rare species of animals and plants, in the ecological education, the excursion activity. The prognosis suppositions of development of the research object are the long-term chronological lines of information to reveal the short-term and irreversible changes of the biotic and abiotic factors, their directions.
