Following results have been obtained: data analysis of the development of ballistic helmets of the world's leading countries and the experience of using ballistic helmets by servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO zone; defined priority directions and trends of development of ballistic helmets; developed general requirements for the protective properties of ballistic helmets of servicemen of different branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; developed general requirements to protective properties of the ballistic helmets of servicemen of different branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; submitted Draft National (military) standard "Personnel Protective Eqiupment. Ballistic Helmets. General Technical Requirements and Ballistic Stability Test Methods". The results can be implemented for the development of tactical and technical tasks on research and development works and design documentation during the design process and production of ballistic helmets, as well as for further scientific researches and teaching activities of military educational establishments of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
