The purpose of the project is to develop practical recommendations for the development of a private enterprise in the conditions of ecologically oriented logistics management of the city, in particular its transport sphere. Methods of research - dialectical method of cognition, fundamental analysis, retrospective analysis and method of argumentation; methods of strategic analysis, abstract-logical, comparative-statistical analysis, table-graphic methods, monographic, correlation and regression analysis, sociological and expert surveys, methods of grouping and questioning, index method, induction and deduction. The results of the research and their scientific novelty: the further development of ways to improve the quality of goods and services of a private enterprise on the basis of empirical research by survey method. The obtained results promote formation of a new concept of development of municipal transport from the standpoint of its sustainability taking into account the ecological component in the long-term perspective, which will allow to provide social, ecological and economic effects both at the local, national and global levels.
