Within the framework of the theme, short-term and long-term loadings on cracked composite plates were studied to determine the safe level of external loads onto the damaged structure elements. The life term dependence on the composite structure, anisotropy of its elastic and viscoelastic properties was studied as well. The techniques developed in the work can be used to calculate the strength and endurance of important composite structures, in particular, for aerospace industry. Advantages of these techniques are proven by some certificates of recognition and the fact that theoretical fundamentals of the underlying theory were published in Ukrainian and international professional publications, technical texbooks and treatises.
