The purpose of the work is to develop a program for the conservation and restoration of the European bison (Bison bonasus L.) subpopulation in the Volyn region. In the course of the research, it was established that the sub-population of bison in Volyn Oblast is in critical condition. The number is insignificant, which requires the development of measures to increase the population of the species. The program provides for the import of bison to the land of the State Enterprise "MG" Zvirovskoe ", carrying out biotechnical measures, arranging biotechnical structures, feeding animals, protecting and monitoring the restoration of livestock in the Volyn region.
