The object of the research is the territory of the city of Chortkіv. The purpose of the work - on the basis of research and regulations to develop a project of a comprehensive green zone of the city Chortkiv in the administrative-territorial boundaries. Investigation of the condition of green plantations has revealed that, in comparison with the previous years, the central part of Chortkiv city was most transformed. The overwhelming majority of greened areas, which in the past were surrounded by religious buildings, palaces, villas, public buildings are now built up, which has led to a violation of the integrity of the landscape and architectural image of the city. It has been found that urbanized landscapes, in which architectural structures and planning are harmoniously integrated into the environment, are the most attractive and highly aesthetically evaluated. The project envisages forming a complex green zone Chortkova as a natural framework in an urbanized environment. The predominant landscapes acquire the greatest weight. The complex green zone is formed by the objects of the natural reserve fund, green plantations of general and restricted use, as well as green plantations of special purpose. The existing and proposed objects of the nature reserve fund are expected to be combined into the Regional Landscape Park. The territory of green public spaces includes all-city territories and residential quarters. Green special purpose plantations will perform the following functions: soil protection, noise-gas-dust protection, water-regulating and water-protective. As a result of the project, natural and landscaped territories will make up 53.5%, and urbanized territories - 46, 5%.
