An experimental sample of a condensation hygrometer was manufactured and its experimental studies on gaseous gas mixtures with different moisture content were conducted. To ensure the operation of the hygrometer in an automatic mode, a microcontroller electronic unit and software based on the emulation of the microcontroller EVAL ADuC847 QS have been developed. For transmission of measurement data from a hygrometer to a computer, a spark-protected interfacial circuit board and communication line have been developed and manufactured. The communication line can be used in explosive environments, such as gas stations. 2. The analysis of the basic physical processes that occur in the hygrometers of the condensation action and the influence of these processes on the accuracy of measuring the dew point are analyzed. A new method for measuring the dew point of gases was used, based on the study of the dependence of the condensate sedimentation rate on the cooled mirror surface at temperatures below the dew point. The introduction of the new method into condensation hygrometry allows solving the principal issues of influence on the accuracy of measuring the dew point temperature of parameters such as the mirror cooling rate, the gas flow rate through the measuring chamber, and the effects of pollutants and hydrophilic impurities depositing from the gas on the mirror surface during the process measurements. In comparison with analogues, the method makes it possible to significantly improve the accuracy of measuring the dew point temperature with respect to moisture in the presence of various soluble and water insoluble impurities in the water.
