The aim of the work is to objectify the evaluation of the limitations of vital functions and rehabilitation potential of patients and disabled persons with limb fractures, deforming arthrosis of large joints in combination with such common diseases as hypertensive and ischemic diseases, diabetes mellitus, the consequences of a stroke (or other cerebrovascular pathology), chronic venous and arterial insufficiency. Methods of investigation - general clinical examinations, laboratory methods (clinical studies of blood, urine, biochemical blood tests), X-ray, electrophysiological, ultrasonographic method, statistical methods. A detailed analysis of medical and expert cases of patients with the consequences of limb injuries and craniocerebral injuries in combination with arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease, chronic venous and arterial insufficiency. This made it possible to determine the reliable correlation of the disability group with the degree of circulatory function impairment, the stage of chronic heart failure, the assessment of the functional class of heart failure, the presence of arterial hypertension, the level of blood glucose and the degree of chronic arterial insufficiency of the extremities. This confirms the value of determining these indicators to clarify the degree of disability, because the originality of the clinical course is due to the development of qualitatively new pathological conditions due to the syndrome of mutual burdening. Conducting a detailed clinical and expert analysis of the examined medical expert cases allowed to develop indicative terms of temporary incapacity for work and criteria for disability groups for patients and people with disabilities with combined pathology. The implementation of the developed terms and criteria will improve the quality of the provision of services for the examination of persistent and temporary disability.
