Beketov national university of urban economy in Kharkiv popup.description2 The object of the study is transient and operational processes in a wind power plant (WPP) as a system containing a wind turbine, an asynchronous generator (AG), starting and protective devices.The purpose of the work is the development of a technique for calculating shock currents and moments, as well as means and methods for reducing them; development of recommendations on increasing the reliability of AG WPP and development of recommendations on reliability and durability of wind power plants due to reduction of transient currents and moments. Analytical dependences of shock currents and moments on its parameters and parameters of damping elements in the stator circuit are obtained on the basis of the system of differential equations of an asynchronous machine, taking into account the active resistance of the stator winding.
