The subject of the study are non-stick coatings that affect the quality of castings when casting into frozen molds. Methods of research. During the work, new methods of applying non-stick coatings to frozen molds and rods were used; for the experimental verification of the adequacy of the models, methods for studying thermophysical properties, gas permeability, cohesive and adhesion properties of coatings, methods for studying abrasion coatings, and using the hierarchy analysis method were used. New compositions of non-stick coatings for frozen molds are proposed and investigated. It is established that the use of non-stick coatings significantly improves the quality of the surface of the casting, reducing the smelting and erosion of the mold.
